ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company limited is a largest private life insurance company limited in India with an assets size in excess of ` 80,000 crores. It is a joint venture between two big financial conglomerates viz. ICICI Bank (holding 74%) and Prudential Holdings UK (holding 26%). Financial control team is entrusted with responsibility of company financials which is prepared both in IRDA (regulator) format and management format. The responsibility includes financial closing activities, expense provisioning, compliance to accounting standards & IRDA regulations pertaining to financial preparation.
